This portfolio project is the result of years of photography, thousands of images, and a desire to tell the story of a changing world. By combining historical research with GPS technology, I connect the past with the present. Too often, towns race to keep up with progress and lose sight of the history, character, and people that brought them to where they are today.

With my unique skill set, I had an epiphany. I realized I could do something about this, and from that moment, GPS Explorer was born.

The process of lining up a historic image with the exact spot where the original photographer would have stood with their tripod begins with researching a location, reviewing hundreds of old photographs until I find one that has a story to tell.
